1/4 cup Almond meal
1/4 tsp Baking powder
Dash of salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 Egg
1 tsp Sweetener
1 tsp Olive Oil
 
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place all dry ingredients in a coffee mug. Stir to combine.
2. Add the egg and oil. Stir until thoroughly combined.
3. Microwave for 1 minute.
4. Use a knife if necessary to help remove the muffin from the cup, slice, and butter.
5. Eat and enjoy!

There are precious pearls in our history—not the gems of this world as we know it, but precious concepts that have been hidden from us for years and years. Many are too valuable to lose and were a foundation to the joy and peace that we all crave today.
The word, “history,” according to the Merriam Webster dictionary, comes from the Greek word, histor, istor, which means “inquiry, learned, knowing.” The word is akin to another Greek word, eidenai, which means “to know.”

It is without a doubt, our civilization has evolved into another world that is so much different than it was years before. Buried from today’s history are precious memories, secrets, and truths that we should dig up and not let be lost in our day.

· Knowing Jesus and His importance in our lives.
· Having a strong family unit with a strong, Bible believing mother and father, led by Christ.
· Embracing morality and having a true understanding between right and wrong.
· Being honest to others and with yourself
· Living healthy

To find those lost memories, secrets, and truths, we now must go back to the place where we lost them. Had we been like the children of Israel in the Old Testament, we would have repeatedly rehearsed landmarks, secrets, and truths to our children, and their children’s children, preserving everything as God wanted.

Let’s make it a priority, as women, to recapture those precious things that God meant for our families to have and hold dear. Let’s start by hearing the Word of Lord, following its precepts, and rehearsing His Word in the ears of our loved ones and children.

​As we walk humbly with the Lord, we ladies must make it a constant matter to know God’s expectation for us. We are mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts,   wives, and so forth. We have many roles and responsibilities. As representations of our Lord’s bride, the church, we must strive to be “on point” on this concept. As such, we must be gracious, wise, virtuous, and God-fearing.

The Bible states in Proverbs 11:16, “A gracious woman retaineth honour.” What a beautiful scripture! It is something worth aspiring to become. A gracious woman, according to the Strong’s concordance, is one who has favour, grace, charm, elegance, and acceptance. None other than Esther comes to mind when I think of someone who is a perfect representation of this gracious woman. At a time when her Jewish country needed her in the face of an angry and vengeful Haman, Esther, with all charm and grace, earned her King’s favour and was able to approach the throne and make her petition known to him. Not once did dear Esther become hostile. Instead, she used courtly etiquette and charm to gain her King’s acceptance—even when custom forbad her to even approach the throne. In the end, she saved her people from utter destruction, earning her the position as the originator of the Jewish holiday, Purim.

Oftentimes, we resort to our baser emotions, such as antagonism and intimidation to get our point across during conflicts with others. Why do we submit to our baser emotions when we have many other, more desirable emotions and can get the job done without pain and agony? Sisters, let’s refrain from corrupt communications as stated in Ephesians 4:29 and approach life’s conflict with grace. Let’s season our lifestyle and communication with salt (Mathew 5:13, Mark 9:50).

The wise woman is the woman who is full of wisdom in religious and ethical affairs. She shows prudence (showing care and thought for the future) and skill (as in war). Proverbs 14:1 states that a wise woman builds her house, while a foolish one plucks hers down. The house to which Proverbs 14:1 refers is not just a physical building, but a household, and the reference to building up such a house or household reflects on building a spiritual family. When God established the first family, Adam and Eve and their sons, that family was the example we were given to follow. In each generation, it was, first and foremost, the parents responsibility to be the parent and to lead. As mothers, we must lead our children spiritually, in example and deed. Promoting our authority is key to developing our children. Bring your children to church with you each service, read the Bible to them, and teach them the way they should go. Ancient Jewish fathers ensured that their sons were taught the Torah and the women instructed their daughters in issues that prepared them for marriage and lady-like character.

Ecclesiastes refers to a virtuous woman in Chapter 30. When I think of the godly women in my life, I think of my pastor’s wife and elders I think of as a mother to me. The word, virtuous in these verses is derived from the Jewish word, chayil, which means “strength, might, efficiency, ability, wealth, force, army.” The connotation denotes that a virtuous woman can withstand any force or opposition quite well, whether it is accomplished through careful planning, physical stamina, or through monetary advantage. No matter the situation, she can stand her place in this evil day.

Proverbs 12:4 says, “A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband...” while Proverbs 31:10 asks, “Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.” 

Hebrews 12:28 tells us we must show godly fear, and in Proverbs 31:30, it says, “...but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.” To fear the Lord means to revere Him and respect Him highly. If you revere someone, you are careful and cautious to behave yourself in their company and do those things that are pleasing to them. Since God is with us always and we revere Him, that means, everywhere we go, we must behave ourselves according to God’s Word 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When we follow this simple principle, those around us will praise us and tell others that we are truly good women of God.

As we walk with the Lord, let’s be the women that God wants us to be. We can do this if we work at it daily. We want our families to be saved, and so the first steps to that end goal is to make these traits a goal. In the end, we will thank ourselves that we did all the right things for ourselves, our loved oned, and our families.
